The Martian nominated for VFX BAFTA

MPC is proud to announce that Production VFX Supervisor Richard Stammers (Prometheus, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and VFX Supervisor Tim Ledbury (Frankenweenie, Fantastic Mr Fox) have received BAFTA nominations for the Visual Effects of The Martian.

MPC was lead visual effects studio on the movie delivering 425 shots. The team was responsible for all of the scenes that took place on Mars, including shots of Watney working around the Hab, travelling across the Martian surface in his rover, storm sequence and shuttle launch sequences.

Congratulations to the whole Martian team for their outstanding work.
